Library of Congress

AAC worked with the Library of Congress (LOC) to implement a pilot program to migrate their MARC Distribution Service (MDS) as a cloud-based offering in order to lower barriers to access for current subscribers and help make the bulk metadata more readily available to the public. This pilot project was named LOC MDS2Cloud and provided the Library with restricted and open access environments. Once implemented, the AAC team trained LOC staff to operate the solution on their own.
