Recently, the CIE broadened the scope of work for the contract to include activities involving, and existing in, other enclaves to include development, testing, and integration in the DISA MilCloud, a DoD-owned and operated CSP, various commercial CSPs, and the Common Computing Environment (CCE)—a collection of common, standardized, and shared infrastructures, platforms and services. AAC formed a cross-functional group matrixed from other teams to address all cloud-related activities. We have performed the following cloud related activities on the contract:

  • Collaboration with ITLC, MSO, MCO, and CSPs to ensure smooth migration to the cloud.
  • Assisting customer application PMOs with planning/designing for porting platforms and targeting CSPs (DISA, AWS, Azure).
  • Support for migration to and maintenance of cloud-based platforms.
  • Designing and supporting solutions beyond current virtual server and virtual client offerings.
  • Providing local and storage network skills to support migration of customer applications to cloud-compliant platforms.
  • Supporting the research, selection, and deployment of automation capabilities, including automation tools.
  • Providing hands-on technical support to sustain migration of application functionality onto/into the targeted production environments (i.e., DISA, CSPs, and GCSS-AF IF) to include ERP and SOA implementations.
