WRNMMC – Unified Communications
During our tenure supporting the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) Unified Communications environment, AAC provided all telecommunications support for more than 12,000 end users. In supporting the voice and Avaya VoIP-UC systems, our on-site team introduced state of the art features that integrated with WRNMMC wireless users, providing the most recent technology enhancements available to the telecommunications industry while improving reliability and security of the WRNMMC unified communications environment.
AAC’s work included program oversight; upgrading the Avaya CM system; day-to-day operation of the UC system, including system administration and routine/preventative maintenance activities; incident and service request response; training WRNMMC personnel; disaster recover and emergency event support; and equipment and asset management to include critical spares. The services provided by AAC were in direct support of systems supporting the health and wellbeing of our armed forces, retirees, and family members. The voice and UC systems we supported transported critical information relating to healthcare needs for each patient.
