Under the Navy Seaport-e contract, AAC provided IT services through the Navy Personnel Command (NPC) Customer Systems Support (CSS) contract. We supported the Information Technology (IT) department (PERS-5), which is responsible for centralized program management and delivery of IT support services. They also serve as the Manpower, Personnel, Training and Education (MPT&E) office responsible for planning, integration, coordination, and implementation of various components of the Human Resource IT system(s). AAC support on this contract included operating and maintaining the Millington Messaging Center (MMC), video teleconferencing (VTC) environments, facilities, systems, and networks, and NMCI/NGEN operations support.
AAC also provided life cycle support of the StayNavy tools and Information Security Officer (ISO) Analysis. Target users are Navy leadership, Command Career Counselors, Navy Counselors, active duty, reserve and retired personnel as well as family members. The tools provide users with the information needed to make informed career decisions. Development was performed using HTML/XML code then converted to .NET. StayNavy tools were hosted in the NPC production environment. In addition to programming support, AAC personnel provided system accessibility, system maintenance, system modifications, user support, and project management services.
AAC designed and installed the original VOIP network for NAVSEA Washington Navy Yard (WNY) headquarters. After installation, provided review of network configuration specifications VoIP, ICD call center, and Unity voicemail. Provided operations support, VoIP network management, new or revised hardware or software distribution, user assistance, training, and associated security functions. Provide all maintenance services required to support the NAVSEA WNY Cisco VoIP system, ICD call center, Unity voice mail and Avaya system. This included CAS components, software, software patches and upgrades, servers, switches, telephones.
AAC supported the Navy Postgraduate School (NPS) and the Center for Homeland Defense and Security (CHDS) through instruction support and indirect technical support for the CHDS graduate and executive level programs. The Center, located at NPS in Monterey, California, has been the nation’s premier provider of homeland security graduate and executive level education since 2002. The CHDS Alumni are recognized subject matter experts, who serve on national policy working groups and provide advice on complex homeland security issues. They act as a resource to assist CHDS, DHS, and other governmental agencies solve homeland security problems and share information.
AAC provided Business, Operations, and Administrative Support Services (BOASS) at the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center, primarily in the New Orleans, Louisiana, area. As a key subcontractor, AAC delivered management, reporting requirements, and associated support services necessary to perform services in the following areas: 1) enterprise management support, 2) base operations and logistics support, 3) IT operations support, and 4) systems management support. AAC’s scope also included continuity of operations (COOP) support, with COOP efforts performed in Fort Worth, Texas; Millington, Tennessee; Washington, DC; and Pensacola, Florida.
