AAC provided the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) technical expertise to support VTC (video teleconferencing) and Telephony (PBX and IP telephony) services in both Reston, VA and Albuquerque, NM.
AAC personnel were responsible for moves, adds, or changes (MACs) for telephones at the onsite locations. Our team installed and configured PBX-related wiring and hardware such as cabinet cards, wall plates, and telephone related servers/appliances at the onsite locations. AAC implemented software changes and performed system management and configuration through Optivity Telephone Manager (OTM) for all BIA locations.
AAC provided assistance to BIA VTC users with regard to current systems deployed and the ability to assist on site personnel with the setup, troubleshooting, and repair of deployed systems. Setup included reconfiguration of the PolyCom VTC user interface to complete site to multi-site calling. System also included a pre-reservation of VTC resources to ensure system access to VTC services is available.
