AAC on Winning Team for NLM Recompete
Oct 01, 2011AAC Inc. announces that it has been awarded a task order under the NIH CIO-SP2i Government Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to continue providing IT infrastructure services to the National Library of Medicine (NLM), as a subcontractor to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC).
The team will provide the world’s largest biomedical library with:
- Communication and network services
- Desktop systems support and security
- Critical infrastructure protection
- Information assurance
- Application development
The task order is worth up to approximately $25 million over a one year base period and two option years. “Since 1986, AAC has been a trusted provider to NLM,” said Jim Francis, President and CEO of AAC. “We are proud to continue our partnership with CSC, ongoing since 2001, in providing NLM with world-class IT support."
