AAC Passes Second ISO 20000-1:2005 Surveillance Audit
Nov 02, 2010AAC Inc. successfully underwent the second surveillance audit for their ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 certification which was performed by the third party registrar BSI, Inc. The assessment was conducted to ensure that AAC’s Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) system continues to meet all elements of the scope of registration and effectively maintains the entire requirements of the ISO 20000-1:2005 standard. AAC has held their ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 certification since 2008 and continues to uphold a robust ITSM system evidenced by the recommendation for continued registration.

AAC’s IT department undergoes regular internal audits to ensure the requirements of the ISO 20000-1:2005 standard is consistently being followed. AAC continues to experience the value of a registered ITSM system with established policies, procedures, objectives and plans in place.
AAC has contracted with BSI, Inc. to perform all of the independent ISO 20000-1:2005 surveillance audits and is scheduled for recertification in August 2011 to renew the three year certification of registration.
