AAC Gives Back to Our Wounded Veterans
Sep 09, 2010AAC Inc., a Cisco Premier and Unified Communications Partner, recently had the opportunity during a Cisco System sponsored program to provide support to our Veterans. Through this partnership, AAC made a difference by giving back to our wounded Veterans and their families. AAC was able to leverage our success as a Cisco network integrator and made a sizable donation to the Military Heroes fund - Devoted Hero. The Devoted Hero donation will provide an emergency financial grant to one family with a wounded, ill or injured service member.
The Military Heroes Fund honors our Veterans' sacrifices by providing for their unmet needs. Approximately 30,000 U.S. troops have been wounded while serving active duty. Given the number of wounded, it is impossible for the Department of Defense and the Veterans Administration to offer all the services required by those who are recovering. Providing for these unmet needs is the goal of the Foundation's Military Heroes Fund.
