AAC Awarded Contract with FTC
Oct 01, 2009AAC Inc. announces that it has been awarded the Information Technology Architecture – Infrastructure (ITA-1) contract with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Under this fixed price performance-based contract, AAC will assist the FTC in completing the preliminary design of ITA-1, provide design services in finalizing the new IT infrastructure, and provide Operations and Maintenance (O&M) on the existing IT infrastructure and then eventually on the newly implemented infrastructure. The full and open contract, with a one base year and four- one year options, is valued at $20M.
Convergence Technology Consulting (CTC) is AAC’s subcontractor for the ITA-1 effort. CTC specializes in design verification and validation, and implementation planning for complex IT infrastructure designs. CTC holds top industry accreditations in all three major virtualization platforms (VMWare, Microsoft, and Citrix) and is only one of two companies in the U.S. that can boast this top level certification.
