AAC Achieves ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 Certificate of Registration

Sep 23, 2008

AAC Inc., a leading provider of Information Technology solutions, announced today that their Information Technology Service Management System has been registered as compliant with the International Standard (ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005).

This achievement was a direct result of the Information Services Department working with the Quality Assurance Department to develop and maintain an effective IT Service Management System.  Meeting the ever growing internal customer demand for the highest level of quality IT services is vital to AAC's growth and future success.  AAC has demonstrated their commitment to follow best practices in their IT Service Management System and continuous improvement of their system by successfully achieving registration.

AAC is already ISO 9001:2000 registered which reflects their adherence to a corporate quality system made up of a set of high-level, customer-oriented and auditable standards.  AAC also has many Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certified employees.  ITIL is the framework that supports ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 and focuses on IT operations while promoting quality service management.  With AAC collectively holding and making effective use of these certifications, they have a hybrid system that focuses on the ITIL framework, while incorporating the best practices from each registered program to cover all areas to ensure the right balance of disciplined quality and IT structure.

"Achieving ISO 20000-1:2005 registration demonstrates our ability and commitment to implement the IT Service Management best practices to help achieve the delivery of quality information technology services to our customers" said AAC's CIO/CTO Ugur Koser. "ISO 20000 registration is a highly sought after and involved dedication, commitment and hard work from our Information Services Department and the Quality Assurance Department. The registration reaffirms our commitment to continually improve our services and promote the delivery of cost-effective information technology services that is closely aligned with our business strategy."
